| Three reasons to donate to Act Too Studio Opera Workshop’s campaign for The Medium and/or to spread the word:
1. This is an unique opportunity for serious teen singers in the Valley to not only receive intense coaching on musically and vocally challenging operatic repertoire, but also to experience putting together a fully-staged production where they are held to professional expectations on nearly every level. We’ll be rehearsing six hours a day, six days a week, for four weeks to put up this production, and that’s *after* they’ve already learned their music. This opera is Serious Business. 2. This is a unique opportunity for our community to be introduced to a type of music and theater they may never have seen, and also to watch teens in their community who are wholly immersed in the material and in classical singing. These young people are talented and absolutely stunning when they put this kind of passion in their work. It is a sight to behold. 3. If you love the arts, and particularly if you love opera, our workshop provides an opportunity to help to instill and nurture that love in the next generation of singers *and* listeners, and there is no denying that we need *both* for the art of classical singing to survive.
